Gwen Toline has been a Public Relations professional for 20 years building a large network of media contacts and ever enhancing her knowledge of public relations. During the past 6 years at GHT Communications she has catered to clients in the residential and commercial interior design and furnishings industries, fashion accessories and jewelry, consumer goods, photography, performing and visual arts including dance, music, theater, authors and painters. Gwen has also consulted for a variety of PR Agencies handling project work including wine and spirits, tech products and ebooks.
She specializes in collaborating with clients to create results driven public relations, social media, marketing and event planning functions, specifically designed to garner positive attention. Gwen is passionate about the luxury categories, the creative arts and creative people. Being raised by an interior designer/painter mother and an audio engineer father who introduced Gwen to a wonderful variety of music, creativity is in her blood. Her passion for interior design and art started from an early age and she began working in the industry while still attending the School of Visual Arts in New York City. By beginning her career at a high-end furnishing brand in it's factory, office and D&D Building showroom in New York City she was able to learn both the business and design functions of the industry.
Gwen Toline’s career includes stints as the in house Director of Communications at various companies in New York City, Senior Account Executive at agencies responsible for publicizing interior designers, furnishings, restaurants, nightclubs, high-end fashion, non-profits, hospitality construction and the people behind these companies. Most recently she was the in house Director of Communications at Niermann Weeks, a leading designer luxury furnishings company and multi-line showroom. Prior to that she was the Director of Communications/Marketing for sister companies Material ConneXion and Culture & Commerce.
